And I Stop Standing In My Way

At any moment, I am X number of actions away from my goal. I don’t need to see all the actions ahead of me; I jump from pebble to pebble. That’s enough clarity. In the way of free action is my accumulated past (my identity) that disturbs me. As I take action, I dissolve myself. I am in my way, and my real work is the death of me, a birth cloaked as death; it’s sweet to die alive! I am in the way of my destiny, and as I walk my road, I die to my goal. And as I walk my road, I become the road. And I stop standing in my way.

The only spiritual discipline I need is to see my goal and remove all in the way of my goal: the curtain of me, my identity. The current me is not capable of birthing my goal, but as I walk towards my goal, I become the person capable of bearing my destiny. My goal demands I become my goal. I face pain by taking action towards my destiny. Suffering arises as my current self dies to my emerging self. I die many times. I die to myself. I die to my goal. And I die to my destiny. It’s the many deaths that pain me. But I keep walking through fire. And I stop standing in my way.

Who is in the way of free action? Me. Who else is in the room? I am alone typing away, writing a song, marketing a book. Who is in the way of free action? Me. Who else is in the room? No one tells me to delete my song as it is too different, daring, peculiar, and strange. No one tells me to stop and fit in to play it small and stay in that suffocating box. There is no box. If there’s a box, the box is me. But I am not a box. And I stop standing in my way.

Who clouds clarity? The curtain of me. I am carrying the cloud of past (identity) wherever I go, not seeing reality as it is. My soul holds within a beautiful destiny that, when lived, becomes my greatest gift to the world. By living my destiny, I delight the world. My greatest joy also happens to be the world’s greatest joy. My highest good and the world’s highest good are in perfect alignment. And I stop standing in my way.

By unfolding my destiny, I die to myself, I heal myself, and I heal the world. My destiny is my greatest teacher. My work heals me as I heal the world. Isn’t that beautiful? I teach, and I learn at the same time. I give, and I get at the same time. My spiritual growth gets captured in my creations, and I come alive in the world and enliven hearts. A real artist walks the road home to himself, and by doing his work, he dissolves into his work, leaving behind masterpieces of grace and glory. The only real glory is the light of the truth, and that light leads home. And I stop standing in my way.

Everything that comes from my soul is art; everything that comes from my shadow is death. My greatest work of art is my authentic soul expression, and everything that is expressed through my soul is art. My spiritual journey that ends in my soul is the greatest piece of art I leave behind. All I create with my soul is a window to God, and I raise the dead. The dead taste life through me. My soul’s expression is art. Death is not art. And I stop standing in my way.

I clean the window so that my vision is clear. What I've accumulated is not me. I am free, and I am free right now. My greatest work of art is my journey home. Home to myself and home to God. My greatest work of art is my soul. My soul is God’s work of art, after all. I am His, and the dream of death has come to pass. My greatest work of art is my healing journey captured in art. Death is not art. Art is alive. And so I, too, come alive. And I stop standing in my way.

The Road For Artists:
It Starts Within 📿

Mission

Artists are dried up, thirsty, and starving as they lost their connection to the divine. They long to be plugged in, reconnect, and cultivate that connection. I am a conduit. I infuse my words with grace through a state of pure being. I plug you in.

Cultivation

Become an instrument of creation through spiritual growth. Spiritual growth is the practice of surrender & release of layers of accumulated past (fabricated protection mechanism in response to trauma: identity structure/ false self) that results in complete alignment with life through uncovering the authentic self, your life's task, and direct experience of God.
